What's New in Flowfield Sports

Freeflow player list now shows all connected players with team-coloured jerseys at a glance. New "Manage Players" button for adding or removing bot players in bulk.

Free coaches get Map Creator, PTS, Library, Flowclip Studio, FlowCode, and Setup Manager. Premium unlocks Freeflow, Map Training, and GPS Mapper for live training and match analysis.

Break down and clip match or training footage by tagging key events as you watch. Create your own tag sets (e.g. "Ruck", "Lineout", "Turnover") then clip moments/actions using shortcuts or buttons. Every tagged event appears on the timeline so you can jump between all your rucks, all your turnovers, etc. Create playlists from your best clips and export them to Flowclip Studio for video production or Map Creator for building the tactical map.

Install Flowfield as an app on your device. Maps you've opened are cached for offline use. Edits and saves queue up and sync automatically when you're back online.

Toggle into 3D in Map Training, Map Creator, and GPS Mapper to orbit the pitch, zoom in from any angle, and see the game from the players' perspective. Right-click any player or the ball to follow them, over-the-shoulder or first-person. Players are rendered as humanoid figures with your team colours and jersey numbers. Build maps, review GPS data, and run training sessions with depth and spatial awareness that 2D can't show.

Watch match footage alongside your tactical map in real time. A floating video window lets you scrub through footage while you position players. Lock the video offset and every frame of your map stays synced with the video. Drag the window anywhere, resize from any corner. Available in Map Creator and Map Training.

Turn your existing coaching slides into editable maps. Upload a PDF, pick the slides you want, and Flowfield detects player positions and field layout automatically. Great for digitising your playbook.

Redesigned interface across all modules. Compact icon sidebar gives you a wider canvas to work with. Panels float over the field instead of pushing it aside. Same layout and tools in every module so nothing feels unfamiliar when you switch.

Insert new frames mid-animation with two modes: "Insert Here" interpolates player positions into the gap, "Push Forward" shifts later frames forward to create a pause.

A dedicated full-screen editor for building your go-to formations. Drag players into position, organise formations by category, and pin your favourites for quick access during sessions.

Tablet players now see the full tactical map alongside their controls. New Follow Mode as an alternative to the joystick. Tap anywhere on the field and your token moves there automatically. Speed scales with distance.

Full field hockey support is here. FIH-compliant pitch (55m × 91.4m), round ball, and sport-specific formations. Switch sports in your preferences and all modules adapt.

Pick your own team colours and override individual player colours via right-click. Colours carry through to all modules and saved maps.

Create professional analysis videos by combining match footage with your tactical maps in a split-screen layout. Choose portrait (9:16) for TikTok/Reels, square for Instagram, or landscape for YouTube. Add annotations, spotlight effects, and freeze frames to highlight key moments. Export as MP4.

Speed-coloured heatmaps show where your players are walking, jogging, running, and sprinting. Toggle heatmaps per player to focus your analysis. CSV import now works with STATSports alongside Catapult. New 4-corner calibration maps GPS coordinates to the pitch with a live preview overlay.

Adjust player token size with our new elegant control. Choose from 3 sizes (x1, x1.25, x1.5) to match your coaching style, presentation needs, or visibility preferences.
