The latest updates and improvements to the platform
September
Create American Football training maps on a full field with end zones in 2D and 3D. Line up an offense against a defense by position, with helmets and shoulder pads in 3D. Draw plays with the existing map tools, share training, and organise your analysis. Flowfield now supports thirteen sports.
September
Create Padel training maps with a dedicated court in 2D and 3D, doubles setups, and L/R roles. Shape rallies and lobs with the existing map tools, share training, and organise your analysis. Flowfield now supports twelve sports.
September
New phone navigation gives staff and players shortcuts suited to their roles. Reach assignments, libraries, training, and team tools from the main navigation, then return from a tool to where you opened it. Library browsing and item details are easier to use on a small screen.

September 10
Each content library now has its own folders, so organising maps doesn't rename the folders used for your playlists or projects. Team and section views also show content shared through their parent sections, with an origin label explaining where it comes from.
August
Plan and rehearse basketball plays with a dedicated court in 2D and 3D, five-player setups, and basketball position labels. Switch to Basketball to create maps, prepare training, and organise your analysis. Flowfield now supports eleven sports.
August
Add up to six video angles to a project and align them around a common moment. Switch views while staying at the same point in the action, using one set of tags across the recordings. Choose a preferred angle for a clip and use the selected view when sending footage to Flowclip Studio or Map Creator.

July
Players and coaches now see assignments in an agenda organised around due dates. Overdue work, this week's tasks, and completed activities are easier to distinguish. Open an assignment to see progress and continue the next piece of work.
July
June
Rugby coaches can jump straight to the left or right line-out channel in the 2D editor. The view frames the touchline area and reduces large player tokens so tightly packed setups are easier to read. Return to your previous view when you're done.
June
Add a stopwatch that counts up or down with your clip to show reaction time or phase duration. Copy, paste, and duplicate annotations with familiar keyboard shortcuts to reuse a styled arrow, label, or spotlight throughout your edit.

June
Keep videos and documents in your personal Cloud Files, then use "Choose from Cloud" to bring footage into FlowCode, Flowclip Studio, GPS Mapper, Map Creator, or Tactical Training. The Content library lets you organise and share reference files and external links alongside your tactical material.

Alongside Rugby Union and Field Hockey, Flowfield now supports Rugby League, Soccer, Men's and Women's Lacrosse, Australian Rules Football, Netball, Gaelic Football, and Hurling. Each sport has its own field layout, player counts, formations, and terminology. Switch sports from the header to work with the right tactical content.
April
Create sections and teams, manage your club roster, and invite coaches and players. Assign members to the right teams and keep track of pending invitations from one place.
April
The movement joystick can now appear where you touch the training field. Control your player directly on the map in Tactical Training and PTS, with playback controls kept separate from movement.

Run live player-controlled sessions and rehearse saved tactical maps in one module. Tactical Training brings Free Flow and Map Simulation together, with shared setup and connection controls. Players join from their phones using the session QR code.

March 14
Free coaches get Map Creator, PTS, Library, Flowclip Studio, FlowCode, and Setup Manager. Premium unlocks Freeflow, Map Training, and GPS Mapper for live training and match analysis.
March 7
Break down and clip match or training footage by tagging key events as you watch. Create your own tag sets (e.g. "Ruck", "Lineout", "Turnover") then clip moments/actions using shortcuts or buttons. Every tagged event appears on the timeline so you can jump between all your rucks, all your turnovers, etc. Create playlists from your best clips and export them to Flowclip Studio for video production or Map Creator for building the tactical map.
February 28
Install Flowfield as an app on your device. Maps you've opened are cached for offline use. Edits and saves queue up and sync automatically when you're back online.
February 23
Toggle into 3D in Map Training, Map Creator, and GPS Mapper to orbit the pitch, zoom in from any angle, and see the game from the players' perspective. Right-click any player or the ball to follow them, over-the-shoulder or first-person. Players are rendered as humanoid figures with your team colours and jersey numbers. Build maps, review GPS data, and run training sessions with depth and spatial awareness that 2D can't show.
February 22
Watch match footage alongside your tactical map in real time. A floating video window lets you scrub through footage while you position players. Lock the video offset and every frame of your map stays synced with the video. Drag the window anywhere, resize from any corner. Available in Map Creator and Map Training.
